Built by people who filed the paperwork themselves

Government Nurse started as a WhatsApp group of nurses comparing NMC application checklists. It's now a full advisory service — still run the same way: one advisor, one file, no guesswork.

Why we exist

Sri Lanka trains excellent nurses. Getting recognised abroad shouldn't be the hard part.

Every year, thousands of qualified Sri Lankan nurses want to work overseas but stall at the paperwork: mismatched transcripts, missed portal deadlines, English scores that expire before the visa comes through. We built Government Nurse to close that gap — one advisor who understands both the Sri Lankan nursing curriculum and the exact checklist each overseas council expects.

We're independent. We don't work for any single country's recruitment pipeline, so our advice is about what's right for your qualification and circumstances, not which agency pays the best commission.

How we work

Three things we don't compromise on

  • TransparencyYou always know which stage your file is at and what happens next — no black-box "processing."
  • Real preparationLanguage classes are taught by nurses and examiners, built around ward scenarios, not generic textbooks.
  • Verified linksEvery regulator link on this site goes to the official council website — never a lookalike portal.
